Homemade Detergent

Dear Sis,

Before the wedding, I made you guys a years worth of powdered detergent. You won’t be out for at lease another six month, but when you need more, you should have the ratios.

This recipe lasted our family about a year.

The HE washing machines at our apartment complex and the washers at the laundry mat preferred a liquid detergent and this was on my experiment list before the move. Now that we are settled into the new house, I can get back to my experiment list:)

This detergent is unscented, which works for us.

Josh likes the scent is Downy Softener and having an unscented detergent allows that scent to be uncontested.

Monkey Bread

Hi sis,

I made monkey bread for breakfast.  Yummy!  This is sooo much faster than making homemade cinnamon rolls and tastes the same if not better!  Oh, if you are civilized, I suppose you can eat it with a fork.  If you are a monkey, then you can rip it apart. 🙂

If you don’t like making your own biscuits, then you can use biscuit mix, or 4 cans of biscuits.
