Laundry Powder

Dear Sis,

I tried liquid detergent, but found it rather difficult to keep liquid. It liked to clump! I prefer powdered laundry detergent. For you and Carmin, I usually make a 5 gallon pail for the year. I was thinking a 2 gallon pail would suit Josh and I. I’ve also changed the formula, so that it is more cost effective.

Honey Almond Buttermilk Pancakes

Dear Sis,

Little has been asking to make pancakes with “all the fruits” in it. I suggested we make plain pancakes and put a variety of fruits on top. He agreed.

A Quilt for Jamiegoof

Dear Sis,

I finally got it out of my system! Your quilt is designed. This has less piecing than most of my other designs. I was able to work in a central focal point, use stars and appliqué, and make fabric work that I already have. I think you will like it in the end. I should be dark enough to wear well for you.
