These invites are a slight variation for the A2 gate card.
Score at 3 inches and 7 1/4 inches. Decorate with wiggly eyes, permanent marker and card stock rectangles and triangles.

Super cute great job! I was wondering exactly what size these were and at what length did you make the folds. Thank you

An “A2 card” is size 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches when finished. To make A2 cards form an 8 1/2 x 11 inch piece of card stock. Cut card stock in half to create 2 (8 1/2 x 5 1/2 inch) pieces. A “gate card” is simply a card that has two folds instead of one. For The Little Monster Party Invitations, the bottom folds 1 1/4 inches up and the top fold in 3 inches down. Hope this helps! Happy Card Making:)

Do you make them and we order or do we make them?

Hi Chelsea,
This post is meant to be a tutorial. Even if you haven’t tried card making before, this project shouldn’t be too daunting for a beginner with creative tendencies. You can post any questions here and we’ll try our best to help.

What size did you cut the white paper on the inside of the invites?
b says:
Hi Ivonne,
The white paper is cut 1/2 inch smaller than the finished card, so that it will have a 1/4 inch boarder all around. In this case, our finished card size is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches, so the white paper is 3 3/4 x 5 inches.

How do you get the teeth to not show on the backside of the flas once you flip it up?

Hi Caitlin,
I did’t:) The top image was taken before I completed all the monster faces and closed the cards. But if you don’t like it, you could cut another piece of the card stock the same color as the card and cover it.
