Yummy Mac and Cheese

Hey Sis,

I have started to make homemade Mac and Cheese, as I really don’t like the after taste of the boxed stuff.  Here is my new recipe:


Mac and Cheese
Write a review
  1. 16 oz box mini shell pasta
  2. 1/4 c butter
  3. 10.75 oz can cheddar cheese soup
  4. 8 oz can evaporated milk
  5. 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar
  1. Cook noodles.
  2. Add butter & soup.
  3. Stir in milk and cheese.

 I ended up making salisbury steaks and peas to go with the mac and cheese.  The boys loved it!  

I also thought you would enjoy a photo, of the pretty flowers Nate got for me. I’m not sure what they are, do you know?

    We tried your homemade mac n cheese at lunch today. The altered Kraft recipe has had us on a hunt for a perfect replacement for about a year!

    We made it with 3/4 c fresh milk instead of evaporated milk and an extra 1/2 c cheese. We loved the texture, but were wishing for more flavor. Next time we are going to try sharp cheddar and colby jack.

    I had two helpings of mac and cheese at lunch today and one at dinner. It is super yummy! Please give Mama more good recipes, so I can grow big!!!
