Father’s Day for Grandpas

Dear Sis,

We’re a bit late making our father’s day gifts this year because I was lacking inspiration… until I found boxes of cookie mix in the discount bin. “A chip off the old block,” popped into my head:)

Make Your Own Card

  • Cut a piece of card stock 10.25 x 7 inches
  • Score to create a fold line
  • Print chip off the old block card printable and cut along outer dashed lines to separate two panels.
  • Adhere the chip off the old block panel to front of card.
  • Adhere a standard sized photo inside the inner set of dashed lines.
  • Adhere happy father’s day panel inside card.
  • Add an additional inner photo and sign and decorate as desired.

Happy Belated Father’s Day!

Visiting Indiana Family

Dear Sis,

What a whirlwind of a trip! I’m so glad I took the kids to visit with their great grandparents, Papa Carmin, and family. William really enjoyed playing with all his third cousins:) In two days, we went through six changes of clothes because the boys just couldn’t stay out of the pond!

This was Charlotte’s first interaction with folks outside our immediate family since the start of quarantine in March, so she was very clingy to Mama. She did manage to take a nap on Great Aunt Angel:)

I with I would have taken more pictures, but I was much too busy catching up with everyone to be a more diligent photographer:)

Nine Months Old

Dear Sis,

The kids were sooo wiggly! Sadly, these are the best of the picture attempts.

They must be discussing how to wreck Mama’s photo shoot!

Our big girl just wants to pull up and climb everything!!!

Surprise

Dear Sis,

The kids and I were enjoyed a productive and fun morning around the house. We had just decided to enjoy our lunch of left-overs on the porch, when I realized I had a voicemail from Dad. I called him back to discover he was on the way to our house. He was in town again, dropping off another work truck:)

Treasure in the Trash

Dear Sis,

It’s trash night and this was in our neighbor’s trash!!!! They helped us carry it home. Apparently, their six-year-old made a habit of climbing the table and jumping off. The table top is not sturdy enough for that kid of fun and they were afraid their younger children would try it and really hurt themselves. In any case, Daddy is going to put it on the back porch for us and we are going to scrub it tomorrow. It will be good as new!!!

William finished his dinner at the new table before bedtime:)

We are going to have to bake our neighbors some cookies!!

What do you see?

Dear Sis,

Look closely! What do you see?

Charlotte is putting her new tooth to use each day during meal time. She still enjoys her baby food, but she also likes to nibble on what us big people are having too:)

Water Fun

Dear Sis,

Today we played at Carter’s family’s house. The kids enjoyed splashing around for a few house. The mamas enjoyed the conversation, and took a few very cute pictures:)
