Making Baby Food

Dear Sis,

Charlotte doesn’t like being spoon fed. She would rather pouch feed herself! So we’re transitioning our collection of frozen baby puree cubes into pouch blends. William loves to help make (taste) baby food:)

We were gifted the Infantino Squeeze Station pouch filler and a 50- pack of squeeze pouches when William was a baby. We never used it, but I saved it.

I’ve stopped using the full filling station because some puree gets stuck in the bottom of each of the three filling tubes and loading and unloading the pouches is an unnecessary step. Now, we fill the pouches individually using a single filling tube without the stand.

These single use pouches in a 50 pack, are $0.34 each, and $0.28 each, if purchased by the 100. Considering the cost and waste, I ordered 10 reusable pouches this week for $8.00 to see if they are up to the challenge.

Love,

b
