Hi Sis,

This week, I got a text from mom inviting us to to the races. Dave was racing this weekend, for the first time in years, and they both knew how excited Eve gets about race cars! Did I mention, that Dave’s car is blue, which is Eve’s favorite color! Naturally, we had to go to the races!! We were happy to have Great-Grandpa join us too!

The kids had an absolutely wonderful time, and it was great to see everyone. Dave was of course very busy, and his car got hit during one of the first races of the weekend, but hopefully he had fun too.

Here is Nate being a weight, so Dave could move and work on the car. Dave was smart, and took the steering wheel… hehehe… no I think they removed it so Nate could get in and out of the car, it was a squeeze.

Grant has always been very sensitive to noise, so we were worried he would be crying most of the day. But, he was only on alarm for the first race, after that he was having a great time! After all, he was with his Grandma, and Grandma is the funnest person ever!

The kids where exhausted when we left. Grant fell asleep as soon as we pulled out of the parking lot. Here he is playing with his long french fry.
