Dear Sis,

At the beginning of the summer, we told you all about the kick off of the summer reading program our local library coordinates. We were faithful readers until the end… reading at least 30 books each week, but often many more. Each five books read, we earned a raffle ticket. We placed them in the water table drawing every time. Since we were away on July 31st until very late, we didn’t get to add our last 4 tickets.

On August 3rd, we got a phone call from the library to tell us William had won! We never expected to win, we just enjoyed the extra encouragement to read. We picked up our prize after lunch and I put it together during nap time, so William could play with it later that day. It is his new favorite outside toy:)

What a wonderful prize for a water loving little boy!
